EATING IN VIGO
From the sea, Galicians get
some of the best primary materials that make up our gastronomy.
But the Galician cuisine does not limit itself to the
great variety of fish and seafood available. In Galicia,
apart from the cuisine based on “coastal goods”,
we also have “inland goods” for which pig
and vegetables are the basic ingredients. In both cases,
you can say that Galician cuisine is
in essence very simple, based on excellent and varied
products that need little decoration and seasoning.
In Vigo, depending on the season, you find a variety of
differing dishes that can be accompanied always by the
delicious local wines such as the albariño, rosal
or ribeiro. |
