VIGO’85:
ON THE THRESHOLD
OF THE EUROPEAN MEMBERSHIP
In 1985, the World Fishing Exhibition
is held at a time full of uncertainties, but
equally of great expectations with, scarcely
three months before the Spanish membership
to the EEC. The new fishing map establishes
unheard-of routes for trading, in and out
of the Community areas, the latter derived
from the installation of small Galician fishing
companies in countries such as South Africa,
Argentina, Uruguay, etc.
